2014 Fair (August 19th - 23rd)

Current Alerts and News

Hookstown Fair Thank You The Hookstown Fair Board would like to thank all the patrons who attended the fair this year, despite the bad weather. We plan all year to present great attractions, all the while keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate. We know the young people wait for fair week, especially the motorcycle and quad riders. Sometimes we must make hard decisions, like cancelling events, especially big attractions like motocross and truck and tractor pulls. It is hard to cancel these events, but we must take into account people safety and equipment damage. With all the rain, the mud made it hard to move vehicles into and out of the pits without the possibility of hitting into each other, let alone providing a safe track for the competitors. The fair board has to make the best decision for all involved. Thanks again for attending the fair and we will see you at the 2015 fair, August 25-29. Jim Scott 2014 Fair Chairperson.
